Article Marketing & SEO is Dead – The Truth Exposed…

Have you heard the rumors going around that Article Marketing, Content Marketing and SEO is dead?

If you believe this to be true then Google has won the game of perception however as we know, perception is not always really how it is and in my recent interview with Dave Jenyns of Melborne SEO Services  Dave digs deep into the changes that continue to come thick and fast commenting on how much fun its been to watch all the speculation around the industry.

People are jumping to conclusions, making sweeping claims and showing their ignorance.  I do things a little differently – I prefer to know the facts before speaking… – Dave Jenyns

To get the answers, Dave got in touch with a number of his friends in the industry and interviewed one of the guys behind his most loved content syndication services – “and to be clear, it’s probably not fair to call this service a “blog network” since it’s now evolved into so much more.  That said, the guy behind it knows more than most will even know about what really happened when Panda and Penguin hit – Jason Arnold from Unique Article Wizard””

UAW has morphed into so much more than simply an Article Marketing Service, with all the recent updates, enhancements, improvements and additional service offerings UAW really has and is becoming a highly diversified Content and Social Marketing Platform.  When you listen to the interview, you will see how all the UAW services are synergistic, working together to provide maximum value for all members.

As Dave put it “in short, this interview is pure SEO gold. It’s super cutting edge and I consider it required listening by all.”

I’ve heard “SEO is dead” for years… I don’t mind if my competitors think that at all. As far as article marketing being dead, that doesn’t even make any sense… Article marketing simply means content distribution, and what is it that Google is looking for? Content. Sure, they are getting better and better with filtering out good from bad, unique from duplicate, etc, but Google is driven by content. If it weren’t for people delivering content, Google would be out of business. Article marketing is just an efficient means of delivering content, but it can be abused just like any powerful tool and cause detriment to your online business. You just have to market content to your audience/readers and not to the search engines.

We have also heard this for years gone by but SEO has only evolved :) As we have been preaching for years – write content for the readers and not the engines = you will benefit in spades!

Yes, traditional article marketing via article directories – the indiscriminate blitzing of no-traffic sites with spun drivel in a quest to please Google spiders – is dead. Its new incarnation, guest posting, brings traffic and sign-ups – but only at a vast expense of time. That said, the alternative – Google Adwords – is even worse. That brings merely profit to Google, few signups and guaranteed loss.

One solution is the spun article, individually submitted to quality sites. Think batch customization…

“those who cannot adapt become victims of evolution” – I think UAW has certainly adapted and evolved while many others have become victims. Nice job and much success in the future!
